La zona del Lungotevere è tra le più affascinanti di Roma ed in particolare quella adiacente all’Isola Tiberina in alcuni momenti della giornata, al pomeriggio grazie al tramonto e la sera per i giochi di illuminazione sul corso d’acqua, offre un spettacolo incredibile. In questo angolo della città è situata “Hosteria dei Numeri Primi”, un locale arredato in modo da risultare moderno, intimo, raffinato ed al tempo stesso accogliente. I circa 50 coperti sono dislocati in una sala caratterizzata dai colori chiari e da una alternanza di cromie che vanno dal bianco, al beige all’oro.
Lo staff di cucina propone una serie di piatti della classica tradizione romana ed altre creazioni, in particolare con il pesce quale ingrediente principale. Spazio quindi al “Polpo caramellato al vino rosso su vellutata di patate e paprika”, il “Raviolo ripieno di burrata fatta in casa saltato con gamberi e pistacchi”, gli “Spaghetti con vongole veraci, gamberi e tartufo nero” e la “Mousse di ricotta pistacchi caramellati e cioccolato fondente”. Materie prima di grande qualità, una lista di dessert molto interessante e la possibilità di accompagnare i piatti con uno dei vini presenti nella vasta cantina consentono di poter vivere una piacevole esperienza gastronomica.

Food was exceptional. Totally recommend for gastronomical experience. Friendly and accommodating staff. The only thing that could have been better: restrooms could have been a bit cleaner and soap dispenser could have been charged with soap.
Atmosphere definitely lacking, only a few tables filled with no background music at the start and the restaurant too bright. Food for the most part very good as remembered. Tuna tartare showed its quality of product but needed something a little further to excite the dish. Pasta with truffle, clams and shrimp was good but a little extra seafood would have made it great - as the seafood was great quality again. Tuna carbonara was amazing, the sauce was so rich - favourite of the night. Truffle steak was good but could have been amazing, the quality of the meat was ridiculously good - you could tell by the colour. Unfortunately we ordered rare and it came seared, blue in the middle. This is fine except given it wasn’t a lean piece of meat, the fat hadn’t broken down making it inedible in parts. Another minute on the grill and it would have been great. Blue cheese and honey semifreddo a must try. Overall food is top quality, but overall dining experience can be worked on.
The food was delicious, but our table was not the best. From my seat I could see into the bar, which is not in a good state and the smell in the restaurant was not really good- some cleaning agent. It was a little too bright for a nice atmosphere. The service was nice and helpful.
Ceviche was amazing. The primi tagliolini (sp?) with shrimp, clam and truffle was out of this world! For secondi we had grilled tuna mustard sesame which was very good.
Excellent place in travestere. Well above in quality than the standard tourist joints around the place.
We first ate at this restaurant in 2018 and made sure to revisit on our next trip to Rome - we were not disappointed. The food and the combination of flavourings are fabulous; the staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful, highly recommended.
This is an excellent restaurant and good value for money. The wine is well priced too. It is a place I keep going back to because of the high quality food and customer service. They do not take advantage of non Italians in this place.
Good quality cooking but not exceptional. We ate early and the house red was end of an open bottle from the day before and well oxidized, sent it back for a fresh glass which was fine. A good restaurant should check this before serving. A little disappointment after the very positive reviews. Expect to pay about 45 eur per person including a glass of wine.
Great little restaurant. Food was superb! Waiter was knowledgeable about the food and wine. In Trastevere but not on a busy street. The zucchini blossoms and a shrimp dish we tried for starters were the best. Pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. The dessert was a deconstructed tiramisu which we enjoyed. Hope to visit next time as well.
Despite being seated in the air conditioned section, it was rather hot and uncomfortable.
Taglioni with squid was very good indeed , but under-seasoned, as was the fettuccine with sea bass, so they both lacked distinctiveness. The pasta with oxtail was delicious, but the fat on the bone was very off-putting! Excellent house white wine and sourdough bread. Getting the bread in a paper bag was rather too casual for me. The DIY tiramisu was not my cup of tea at all - a dry sponge finger cannot be redeemed with a few seconds of soaking. It was so disappointing- I imagine some people will love It though!
Delicious food, very friendly service and reasonable price. One of the best Italian meals I have ever had. Every dish we tried was superb, especially the octopus in sweet potato sauce. Terrific wine recommendation at a reasonable price. My only mild complaint is that it was a little warm in the restaurant. Overall, this place makes terrific food that you will remember for a long time.
My family and I met some friends for dinner and we were all overwhelmed with this restaurant. Matteo and Stefano did a great job. The food was genuine, innovative and simply delicious. Our best meal in Rome and worthy of a fine dining recommendation and review. We will return! Bravo!

Excellent find! Host and waiters were friendly and competent. We had octopus appetizer, pasta with shrimps, pasta with oxtail, and tiramisu for dessert. Only glitches: service was slow (dinner took 3 hours exactly), and the tiramisu was “make it yourself” (tiramisu takes 24 hours at least for the flavors to melt together, it is not meant to be made by the guest then and there)
I have been several times to this restaurant and continue to be impressed with the food, service and ambience. We'll definitely be back!

Exquisite food using top quality, fresh ingredients. Raw seafood platter - succulent, sweet red prawns; delicious Peruvian Ceviche with toasted maize kernels; pan seared tuna coated in sesame seeds and poppy seeds with a honey mustard sauce, rare inside, crunchy outside, Gorgonzola and honey parfait to finish - amazing. A nice bottle of white wine, all served efficiently and with attention to detail. Around 50€ a head and well worth it: fresh fish is always expensive. This meal was fantastic, will definitely go back.

IL MENÚ- La cucina offre tanti piatti deliziosi, da quelli più classici fino ad arrivare alle invenzioni dello chef. Gli ingredienti sono tutti di primissima qualità. Tante le portate da provare assolutamente, tra le quali il risotto al Castelmagno, ma da segnalare sono sicuramente i dessert, davvero squisiti.
