I got the sea bass appetizer and the octopus. It was very good and even better than the way the waiter described it to me. The octopus was probably one of the best I ever had! It was sweet and salty and overall delicious! The waiters and staff were very attentive and the service was impeccable. We were given a delicious tasting to go along with our drinks, I ordered the mule which I highly recommend. Then they served us a complimentary mini appetizer before the bread came. And following the meal we were given a tasting of dessert. With the bill we were also given a gift of a box of mints. This restaurant offers amazing views, great service and unbelievable food! A must visit if your ever in Rome!
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Expectations on the food were higher than the actual quality but the staff and atmosphere made the night a success.
Fabulous restaurant can’t recommend highly enough! Went for my husbands 60th birthday and they seated us at a lovely special table with a excellent view! The food was amazing and the staff were the best I’ve come across in Rome . Very friendly very knowledgable about food and drinks and had time to spend time making us feel special! First class service from a genuine bunch of people! Well done Guys.
I have to say this places was exceptional, we had the 6 Course taster menu and really enjoyed the dishes served, a few not to our taste buds but that's just preference. Atmosphere was good and a little loud due to a pick party, but still was great. The views from the restaurant were amazing and we would highly recommend this place. Service was very good, the waiter who served us was highly attentive and made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout the evening! Thanks for making our anniversary dinner a night to remember!
I took my partner here after proposing to her as a suprise and what a treat. Wonderful restaurant, the outside and surrounding area is set lovely and looks classy. The dinning area was picturesque with fantastic views pretty much all around. The staff are excellent very attentive and their knowledge of the food and wine was brilliant. The added touches like the chefs welcome dish and complimentary bread and olive oil was beautiful and unexpected. The duck and the beef was succulent and portion sizes good for A la carte, in comparison to other Michelin star restaurants in the area providing a similar experience the prices are fantastic, especially as we had a 20% discount booking through the fork our bill was relatively low. All in all this is a must visit restaurant when visiting Rome if you intend on a special evening out with a loved one. Thank you to all the staff at Hi-Res for the most memorable evening we've ever had.
I had an argument with the waiting about one of my potatoes which was undercooked. He claimed that it was because of the sort of potato but is wasn’t. He would not return it.. my girlfriends piece of beef had a large sene so she couldn’t chew it. The sommelier was great
Beautiful view and setting.
Great food Great Memories
It was so briliant night. Fantastic night and Service with incredible good and tasty food.
Excellent service, ambience refined yet relaxed. Impressive wine selection
Engagement anniversary romantic lunch. Booked at 13:30...there was only another table with a couple of tourists that left shortly after we arrived. Very nice terrace but deserted at lunch time, probably night and weekends have a more animated atmosphere. Food was good but not special, Waiters distracted for a restaurant of this level. The one that recommended the wine was not very knowledgeable of what she was serving. All in all, a very nice location but not a high class restaurant.
Friendly staff and great service. Wonderful views. The food was not up to standard with a bland ravioli and chewy duck, which was under. Disappointing seeing it's a restaurant in the higher pricerange.
A beautiful rooftop setting and very good service. It is a great people watching spot as the clientele were very trendy. The food was good but much more expensive (especially for the serving size) than any meal we had in Italy to date. We have traveled all over the country and eaten at many nice restaurants. This was the first one we ate at that we left hungry.
Everything about Hi-Res was excellent! The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful with suggestions. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the chef's tasting menu and every course was wonderful. There were many surprisingly great flavour and texture combinations which worked together perfectly. We booked an earlier dinner because we wanted to see the sunset and we were not disappointed. The view from this rooftop restaurant was gorgeous! Reservations are definitely recommended as this restaurant fills up quickly!
The food was quite expensive. The risotto was very salty. The other food was nice but not warm enough. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. The toilets are very dark and unisex.
Great view and ambience. Service excellent. Food quality was really good. Amusee bouche great. Good selection of reasonably priced wines.
