This charming little place was just what we needed after getting into town. It is small but cozy and the smell of grilled meat greets you as you walk in the door. Our server was very personable, friendly, and helpful with us. His service was also very attentive which was very much appreciated. He made some great suggestions on what to order and we would love to try the rest of the menu too!
We had a great time at this restaurant. Service was amazing and our waiter was friendly. Food was even better and reasonably priced for being in the city centre. They had a lot of options as well to try from!
Great service, beautiful ambience and perfectly executed dishes. I had the cream salad of yogurt, and pork skewer with veggies on skewer with butter.Delicious. They have a nice selection of local wines that you can enjoy by the glass too.
Divine food, service, wine pairing, atmosphere, really top on every level. The food was exquisite and simply fresh.
One of the best restaurants we have been to in all of Spain, an artistic and culinary delight complimented by Zara and Anton. Truly superb. I highly recommend this restaurant, we did not have reservations but I do recommend doing so.
Had a wonderful lunch at Gayane’s. The ambience wasn’t too serious. The food was excellent. Love the sturgeon fish with pomegranate souse, as well as the iberian pork on skewer . The flavor was very intense yet balancing. I also love the texture of these two dishes. The technique was serving the dish, not overwhelming it. I wish there were a bit more options on the dessert cart, like some grape juice with walnuts . (It was just me.) Overall, it was a nice meal.
Lovely restaurant, excellent food well explained by a gracious host and some fun facts and history too! It’s in a great area by the Opera Metro stop so it’s easy to find, too,
My friends and I decided to stop by on a whim since the place was buzzing with people. We got seated quite quickly despite it being busy. Waiter were super friendly and explained the dishes to us and gave us recommendations. Barbecues were delicious--some of the best I've ever had. Definitely would go again if I had the chance.
It's a really special dining experience. A big part of it is the service, and atmosphere which were exceptional (while not being over the top). We did the Lam barbecue and sturgeon fish . Not all of the dishes blew us away, but there were a number of stand out dishes.
Super friendly service: the owner is very friendly, which makes me feel very welcome and very careful throughout the meal. - Delicious food: I have Armenian yogurt and eggplant rolls as an appetizer and steak chalagach is my main dish. Both are great - Atmosphere: This is a small cozy restaurant, ideal for a quiet meal with friends or with yourself.
Best restaurant I visited in Madrid. The food was impeccable. Their was a wait of about 30 minutes on the Wednesday night I visited, but I heard it could be up to an hour. Do not let the wait sway your decision of coming here. Their seafood must be pulled right off the boat that morning, so fresh and flavorful. Their lamb was amazing as well. Great prices and great experience. Highly recommend!
Outstanding find in Madrid! The Armenian food was delicious... special mention to the Eggplant with Armenian yogurt and the fresh pasta with lam meat! The service was an absolute delight with the waiter, smiling and ready to help! A well deserved high rating!
Wow this place is so good! popped in for a late lunch on saturday - nice clean place, friendly owner/chef Zara took the time to explain menu to us - and the food was just delicious - really rich which fresh pomegranate on everything and fair prices too! If you are in the area I highly recommended checking it out!
Very popular place, came highly recommended by many locals. In the evening the waiting line went across the corner but during lunch time we could be seated immediately. Amazing food, definitely understand why it is so busy here in the evening. I would also recommend this place for a lunch.
The food, wine and service - top class and quality. Gets quite noisy in the evenings for business dinner.
If you want some black caviar and do not mind paying the price for it, this is your place. All the food was fantastic, the grilled vegetables, the steak with pomegranate souse and lavash, the khacha puri with caucasian shafran. All fantastic, good selection of wines.
Me and my boyfriend went here to grab some food after noon soon after the place opened. The place became quickly crowded (i guess because of great food and service). We ordered cheese for starters and steaks for the main course. It was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Anton serving in the restaurant had an amazing touch for serving customers. He were very friendly, always available and professional yet still relaxed. Very warm atmosphere. The starter was excellent and steaks were awesome. Wine was good and it was offered plenty. We went here again on our vacation and the waiter remembered what we like to drink without even telling. Very strong recommendation from us.
Gorgeous food tasty and generous portions. Kind staff. Price accordingly.
Good choice for a family celebration. The wide range of food allows everybody to have a great experience although the chalagach is the king of the menu. special mention to pork T bone and sturgeon fish ...
Beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance. Service was spot on. Every dish was a new experience. And we really loved the Karas extra brut.A place where we will come back for soure.
