This is a true hidden Gem for a creative take on authentic Spanish cuisine. The owners (chef and hostess) are exceptional, friendly and welcoming. Their take on the traditional calamari sandwich, made on their unique brioche infused with squid ink is both inspiring and truly delicious - do try it. Ther fried eggplant chips were divine and the dipping sauce should be published. Every dish was unique, sincere, creative and quite refreshingly good. Excellent service, great value.
The food was not the best we had. There were some interesting dishes in which we stepped out of our comfort zone. The waitress was American and the majority of the patrons there were friends and Americans. It did not have the vibe we were hoping for. It was a quaint, nice place, though.
Sitio totalmente recomendable. Trato exquisito. Para repetir.
Fabulous! Fantastic, imaginative dishes. A lovely experience
One of the best services I had in a while..Super friendly and nice. The food is not the type that you could find at any place, quite original!
Fantastic value for money tapas experience. The aubergine chips and the croquettes are to die for. Plenty of by the glass wine to choose between. Very friendly & attentive staff. A glorious find.
Quite nice food but the rice was slightly undercooked and hard in the centre. Service was excellent!!
Our best tapas meal in Spain! Wonderful food (including many vegetarian options) in a cozy, "off the beaten path" kind of place with excellent service. Also a nice selection of local wine and craft beer at reasonable prices. I'd definitely recommend it!
Muy rico todo!
Young binational couple running a small 'gastropub' enterprise in the highly competitive city of Madrid. We enjoyed our experience 100% and hope to visit the place again. Good luck!
Lovely place. Really good food and options for vegetarians.
Excellent tapas restaurant. Food was delicious, buzzy, great atmosphere and attentive service. Quite small so recommend booking. 5 stars!
Excellent location in Madrid with an interesting menu. Aubergine chips with goat cheese and cod with piquillo sauce. Good local beers.
Excellent service, interesting and delicious food, wonderful atmosphere of “mom and pop” restaurant. Great wine selection, and Laura was very knowledgeable about local wines and history! The food was amazing, and the chef adds delicious details to each dish (I.e. the cheese cake had a touch of queso de cabra in it and a vermouth & berry compote; the steak tartar came with the most interesting and scrumptious pickle ice cream and mustard ice cream that the restaurant has specially made). I would recommend this restaurant to any traveler visiting Madrid who’s looking for great wine and tapas!
Delicious, affordable, friendly service, name has cats.. what more do you need?
Very good place, we surely come back again
The food was lovely but prices overall were not low (as many comments say)... there are other restaurants with better quality and atmosphere for the same price. And they charged us for the chupitos!
Excellent creative food and fantastic service.
