After trying out virtually all etiopian restaurants in Amsterdam (which, by the way, are in bad need of a bit of variation...), we think Fenan's maybe stands out as the most tasty, carefully served, and varied of all. A lot of attention is given to the vegetarian dishes (which is what we eat). Compliments, keep up the good work.
We ate here tonight. It took 45 min for us to get our food, but it was really good. Eating together out of one dish really adds to the experience. It`s stimulates the conversation and youre more in touch with all the textures because you feel aswell as taste them. An average dish costs 10 euros per person, but is served all on one big plate. Try their exotic beers! The banana beer contains 20% banana juice and the mango beer is really fruity and fresh. I really recommend this restaurant for people who want to try something new and not to expensive.
