The food was average but the service was excellent. I would go back here for their wine selection but not for a nice meal. A little expensive for what it was.

Rather surprised to be told that we shouldn't be drinking cocktails when we tried to order them from a second waiter, despite being given a cocktail menu by the first waiter. Was pressurised to purchase a bottle of wine which was OK but not outstanding. Waiter suggested we tell him what price we were prepared to pay when we said Euro30 was above our budget! And then as we were leaving he handed us details of another restaurant where we could get a discount if we mentioned his name. Strange chap!

Enoteca Trastevere is average, one of many restaurants in Trastevere, I would not say there is anything to make this place stand out. The tagliatelle was overcooked which is very rarely found it Italy. The waiter was proud to remember the order without a pad but forgot an entree. The setting is great but next time we'll try another restaurant in the area, we live locally and there are many better.

The online menu showed a truffle and porcini linguini but when we got there it wasn’t on the menu. I asked and the 1stwaiter said no. The 2nd said yes and when the 3rd came to take our order he said no. The manager came and said okay and it was delicious. The rest was okay but the one was the only thing worth coming back for.

We took the carpaccio (which was delicious), the burrata (excellent, especially with the pesto verde) and the cheese & truffle gnocchi (exceptional). Everything was great, they offered us some white wine and shots to welcome us which I thought was really kind. Also the waiter was extremely kind and available. I think it is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Rome with my girlfriend. I’ll definitely come back.

As member of Fork program we were treated differently then others, e.g we were seated inside of the restaurant eventhough we asked to have a table outside they denied. We were seated directly in the flow of Air conditioning, evethough we asked to get another not occupied table they refused. We asked to reduce the airflow of air conditioning , again without success. So we had to wear coats by 27 degrees. Very confusing were two positions on the bill, once 2 eur per person (a kind of fee for table ware which is usual for Italy) but then there was another position of 10% called a kind of service fee. Strange... But the meal was excellent. I assume without the fork rebate the service would be excellent as well...

Was a nice atmosphere. Didn't rate the food. Was ok. Carpaccio was really tough. Bill was expensive and we didn't receive our 20% off that was included in the booking

On TripAdvisor this place is in the wine bar category. We arrived at 8pm and we wanted to drink a bottle of wine, but not having a dinner. At the order I recognized that this is a problem for the staff so I ordered a cheese and ham plate. At the end the plate costed 17 euros which is a double price for an appetizer but the manager told us that it’s not on the menu it was a “special offer” for us. There was 4 euro for the bread on the bill (we didn’t order it). If you only want to drink a bottle of wine at a wine bar, don’t choose this place.

What a lovely restaurant! Having spent a few days in Napoli with very grumpy service everywhere, it was a pleasure to be served by such friendly staff. Situated in a beautiful little area of Rome we grabbed a table outside and were presented with complimentary prosecco and an amuse bouche. Starters and mains were great, but the desserts here are something special, the cheesecake and tiramisu delicious. Fab wine and alcohol free cocktails for the kids too. Could happily have stayed for more drinks or sauntered into one of the many appealing bars along the street, but for being so tired from a day exploring Rome. With the discount from booking with The Fork, this was amazing value. Highly recommended for tasty food, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and impeccable service.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and Amjad was very kind and helpful. Definitely to come back in a rainy day in Rome. The choice of food and wine was quite good.
