    We really enjoy wonderful lunch at Embat. Appetizers, entrees and desserts, everything was beautifully and creatively presented and very delicious! Especially, beef tartar, tuna tataki, and crema Catalana with pineapple are must-order dishes.

    We went for lunch at this tucked away restaurant as it was fully booked in the evening. The food was amazing...Spanish rice and prawns, artichokes stuffed with mushrooms.....The Chocolate Truffles were to die for. Finished off with an espresso. Best risotto dish we have ever tasted.

About the restaurant

Llegan ráfagas de viento balear a la calle Mallorca de l’Eixample barcelonés. El Embat, conocido como la brisa marina veraniega propia de la isla de Palma de Mallorca fruto del cambio de temperaturas entre el interior de Santa Maria, Consell e Inca y las costas mallorquinas, se materializa en los fogones del restaurante que ha tomado su nombre para trasladarlo a Barcelona.

El concepto del restaurante Embat surge de la fusión mediterránea del chef Santi Rebes y el carácter nórdico vestido por el interiorista Jordi Ginabreda. En este espacio creativo se recurre a los productos de mercado para ofrecer la mejor cocina de autor junto a la creatividad y la innovación de este joven chef, haciendo de los Canelones trufados la especialidad de la casa. Este delicioso espacio, cobijado en los bajos de un edificio modernista, apuesta por las mejores carnes y pescados que se traducen en presentaciones tan suculentas como el Bacalao con tomate, brandada y salsa gibriche.
