Have eaten here many times and food and service are always consistent and excellent.

Elle Effe was the food highlight of our trip. Our party of 6 all commented that the food was amazing. Our waiter gave us the best service of all our meals in Rome, and he did it while making it fun for all. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

The dishes are excellent. Sicilian cooking, pasta, meat, fish, everything of superb quality. The service is very friendly and speaks good English, too. Do try the canoli and cassata for desert.

Our new favorite restaurant in rome..great staff...our waiter,forgot his name,??(very thin,tattoo on his arms,)was fabulous..i have been a server for 30 yrs in the usa,and i was so impressed with everything about this place. Thank you!!!bridget

I ordered spaghetti with clams, mussels and shrimp. I got a lot of calamari (which I detest because of the “suckers”) a large crawfish on top without utensils to crack the shell plus plenty of mussels, some clams, and 2 baby shrimp. Friends ordered a ceasar salad but it was unlike what they were used to - no anchovies, or dressing. Our buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes was luscious and fresh. The waiter Daniel was lovely,and very friendly... and suggested a wonderful wine to go with dinner.... however when the bill came, we were surprised that the bread that was supplied to the table cost 4 euros (not expensive, just surprising) and the water was also charged ( not expensive again, but surprising). When we wanted to pay the check, they “forgot” the 20% off promotion, AND, we had to pay in cash because they had “no internet”. Not sure I would go to this restaurant again when we visit Rome, even tho we came to it due to the reviews on Trip Advisor.

The all the food was extremely salty, The service very good, nice mood, little bit expensive.

Fantastic night here. Had the sea bass filleted in front of me with tremendous skill, incredibly tasty fish. Great wine, food, cocktails and service. Wish I could get this at home!

Ingredients didn’t look fresh , too much oil and the soul is missing in the food
