A rare pearl among our careful selection of the best addresses right now

It was an outstanding restaurant, starting with a smile from the crew when we entered. Even we made a reservation we had the free choice where to sit. We used the 1st floor, had a great place and nice view towards Plaza del Sol. The service was more than perfect, taking care and that was really feeling like guests, they appologized for not speaking english, that is was so nice! The food was extremely nice, veryy good flavors and compositions. The vine selection excelent and we only can recommend to see that place. Enjoy!

Overrated by the reviews in my opinion. Restaurant atmosphere is good and quiet, service is friendly but a few of the several dishes we took ( they have half portions which is good) were average. E.g the shrimp casserole is basically small peeled shrimps floating in olive oil and brought literally boiling at the table. Need to wait minutes before you can eat and shrimps are basically over cooked. My wife’s salmon with tartar sauce was smoked salmon, which was not described on the menu. The only really good dish we had was the cured ham, but good cured ham is absolutely everywhere in Madrid. Gin cocktails were original but too sweet to our taste.
