All in all, and I am not glad to report, this is what I consider a tourist trap. Atmosphere - the ground floor - part of the ground floor - of an old palace, thus solid stone - cold and reverberating. A bit too many tables. Service - rushed and surprisingly not fast. Food - mediocre. It advertises fado music that starts at 21:30 - the singer has a fine voice, but all in all, she is not well served by the accompanying pianist, nor the ambience.

Ambiente intimista que combina o a antídoto com o moderno , a comida servida de forma elegante e muito saborosa e o dueto de vozes e a mistura do tango com o fado fantástica!

The food was average at best, especially compared to other places nearby. We were given some bread and dips that we did not ask for and got charged for them. They also charged us for the water which I had thought was tap water..

The restaurant is beautoful and very well located. Food was a bit disappointing considering the price. My plate was cold and by far too salty. On the other hand, they put a starter on the table without asking for it, that they remove when we asked. Prawns were very good and interesting, the cheese with pumpkin and filo pastry is served in a way that is difficult to eat. Overated and expensive for my taste. It tries to be an upper class restaurant but details are not very well looked after.

The place and the mood have been really nice. There was a show that by the way you’re charged for it and didn’t know...but it was interesting. The service took some time between dishes but generally speaking it was a nice dinner.

The waiters were so kind and the restaurant atmosphere so pleasant that this has become the beat dinner in Lisboa of the entire week. There was a performance of two artists, a wonderful guitarist/pianist and a beautiful and talented singer...lovely experience of Portuguese music. I will suggest it to friends and family for sure.

really good food - small servings (which is a plus for me), and nice staff. i went during a fado show and was blown away. the only negative was that it took a full 30 minutes for me to get my bill, pay, and get out of the door. i assume this is because i was dining alone, so if i were to return solo i would not go back but with friends/family, i would in a heartbeat!

I brought friends from the Dominican Republic and the music of the night was Caribbean style so they loved the experience. Food and wine were great. I just felt that service could be improved but that’s a general problem in Lisbon...

About the restaurant
