Appreciated their willingness to translate the menu. It was truly a fine dining experience in a casual setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Did not care for their version of pasta carbonara, but everything else was soooo yummy.

Nice little restaurant serving lovely food and wine. We had the 6 course degustation and it was very nice with the paired wines which had wines from around the world.

Fantastic meal for our last evening in Rome. Menu is only Italian but waitress very happy to explain all items and speaks excellent English. Food was fantastic, very unusual food combinations but recommend the pork tortellini, Iberico pork and stuffed chicken. Definitely a must visit when in Rome!

Compliments to the chef. Booked online for 20% off which was great. We would absolutely recommend the degustation!

Very disappointed in our pasta dishes and our service. One family member ordered a steak and said it was very good but the rest of us were disappointed and thought our dishes lacked flavor. Our waitress was not friendly and seemed to be annoyed with everything and everyone. We had such wonderful food and service at other restaurants in Rome that I can not recommend Cuoco e Camicia.

Really nice experience. We actually Showed up almost 30 minutes after our reservation by accident, and they were still holding our table. Most of the clientele was Italian and the menu as only in Italian, which we took as a good sign. We decided on the 6 course tasting menu: 2 antipasti, 2 pasta, 1 meat, and a dessert for 39 euros. The staff was very friendly and was fluent in English so they were able to help us understand the dishes. Good selection of wine. Delicious!

This is not your typical Italian restaurant but the food is really very good. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes and the wine list was more than adequate and the wine we had was very nice and complemented our meals. If you are looking for something a bit different, give this place a go.

Outstanding food - one of my best meals ever. Had the 6 course degustation which also had an appetiser and petit fours. No extra charge for bread or sparkling water from the machine. Inventive modern dining with great decor, friendly professional service and the cleanest toilets I have seen in Rome. Well priced for what was served - 39 euros and good wines around 20 euros. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious, inventive, and beautiful food! I had one of the best meals in our two week Italy vacation at Cuoco e Camicia. The beef tarta with blackberries, raspberries, currants, and fried jeruselum artichokes was amazing, as were the pasta dishes. The food is traditional Italian food reinterpreted. The "carbonara" was a filled pasta that contained the sauce, along with crispy pancetta. The meat dish was served with mustard ice cream. The desert I had was a dark beer gelato with whipped white chocolate and black licorice. Superb!

Lovely restaurant located just off a really lively neighbourhood near the colosseum. Modern interpretation of classic Italian dishes, great specials and a very good selection of wines by the glass. We booked with a 20% off offer which they took off the bill with no question.
