Both the food and the service were outstanding. A few gluten free options available and an alternative complementary appetiser was offered. The duck with liquorice and the pistachio dessert were the stand out dishes for us. Prices were a bit higher than the other restaurants we went to but we thought our meal was worth it.
Really welcoming and superb food, they went the extra mile as we were celebrating my parents 50th anniversary! Would thoroughly recommend as was excellent value for money too.
The restaurant is nice, very creative cuisine and the only minus was the food was rather salty. We thought the chef was in love. :) for the rest really it is worth tasting their cuisine.
The restaurant was really good the staff so friendly . The food was beyond expectation so tasty and innovated. The price was reasonable. I recommend it and we will come back .
Solita gradita conferma!
The quality of the food is disappointing compared to the price range.
Small and intimate restaurant with good food. Great service and attention to the details. Enjoyed that you can see the chef preparing your dishes behind a glass wall. Great for couples though a family of 8 was there and took over almost half the room.
Friendly & Delicious. Very good !
Ottima la carbonara con gamberi di Sicilia!
Confermato locale top!
We came here to find a nice quiet place without too many tourists and we found the right spot. The waitress greeted us upon entering and showed us our table. I can be really short about the food. The preparation was done very professional and the taste was very good. I’ve never had such good tuna steak in my life. It literally melted on my tongue! Would highly recommend this place :) P.S. try the pistache dessert. It’s heaven.
Good innovative, service very rushed and the restaurant wasn’t full, took my plate away before my husband had finished eating.
Very inviting restaurant just a short walk from Roma Termini. Although more of a local crowd for lunch, the dinner crowd was a combination of tourist and locals. We were a table of 4 (2 couples) from the midwest America. Each couple shared a first course and everyone selected a different second course. This included pasta, salad, beef and fish dishes. We were very pleased with the choices as the dishes were very flavorful, well portioned and reasonably priced. The owner and his team were very friendly and welcoming. Highly reccomend.
Very good food. From starter to dessert enjoyed everything. The setting could have been better.
A terrific restaurant with excellent food on a quiet cul-de-sac.
A great find. Very creative.
A bit tatty decor but good service and welcoming. We were elbow to elbow with the next table and as they were deep frying we left smelling like a chip shop. My wife’s rigatoni starter and steak main were good but my 26euro lobster starter lacked seasoning and was bland. My cod main course was tasteless and rubbery. It’s a capital city so food will be expensive and not as good as say Tuscany but this was disappointing even so. Would not go back.
In short, service was good but the food was a disappointment. It seems to be more about presentation here than quality and taste. Food was not served hot, and it did not live up to the hype. My husband had the carbonara and I had the cod. The cod was served with over salted bacon (and I like seasoned foods and salt) and a strange, bland and cold seaweed. The cod was undercooked at first (did not flake apart - had to pull, indicating it was underdone). I sent it back to be cooked a bit more even though the chef indicated he thought it was cooked correctly. It returned cooked but still hardly edible, for me or my husband, as the flavors hadn’t changed. I wish I had just sent it back altogether and ordered something else. And the hubby nearly did not eat all of his carbonara, which is extremely rare for him. We didn’t want to have to go to another restaurant at 9:00 or face getting hungry before bed, so he just ate it anyway. I left most of my plate. When we got the check and was asked how everything was, even though it was awkward I explained that I didn’t enjoy the dish especially the “vegetable” (seaweed). I have had plenty of seaweed salads in my lifetime and this was like no other. I didn’t bother addressing the rest of the plate. The gentlemen (manager?) was apologetic and seemed to go over to explain to the chef. We were about to leave after paying, but the chef wanted to send a dessert for our dissatisfaction. It was a pistachio based dish, and that was truly delicious. We greatly appreciated the sentiment and enjoyed it, but altogether we wished for a better experience overall. My intention is not to bash the restaurant, but rather inform future consumers and hope for improvement by this establishment.
Molto cordiali, ma professionali.
Outstanding food. I have lived in Naples for a year now and visiting Rome a dozen times. This was hands down the best carbonara I have ever had. My family also gave loved what they ordered. Service was friendly and fast. Great music played during dinner. Highly recommended.
Friendly service, good food and absurdly large portions! Portion sizes were similar to that of an American diner, and I was only eating half of each course.
Calm atmosphere, good food, kind servers! My family really enjoyed the place :)
Incredible and so tasty, good value and was local to our hotel, this place will be going up the ratings and well deserved
Great food in a protected corner close to the main station. Nice selection of dishes and wines in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Interesting also the selection of desserts.
Staffs are super nice and warm, made a perfect dessert for my little cousin(his birthday). The food is awesome and surprised, portion is bigger than I expected, and they have many different languages of menu. I strongly recommend the lobster’s pasta and beef steak.
Nice restaurant with a warm welcome. Very convenient location. Open kitchen where you can see your food being prepared. We’d like to come again soon.
All the food was absolutely amazing, had the lamb and pappardelle, pistachio desert was great but she forgot to ring it in so it took about 20 minutes to get to us and they didn’t do anything to make up for their mistake. You’ll have a great meal though.
Nice staff and service ,,, really good dessert and pasta ... but I want to see more in the menu like more options of pasta and starter... the location was perfect for me because I stayed close to the train station
Didn't expect it was far from where I was staying, but turn up to be a wonderful, memorable night with family.
Very cool restaurant with interesting dishes and visible kitchen. Dishes coming from Italian tradition but revisited adding particular ingredients. Good quality fro wine list. Little place with fantasious lights and good atmosphere.
OVERPRICED, short portions and nothing special at all, even the service didn’t ask how it was everything. Really disappointed, don’t make the mistake to go there.
Excellent. Food is great quality and service is excellent.
We arrived into Rome late and decided to go to Culinaria as it was next door to the our hotel. Even though it was late the service and food were really good. In particular the swordfish pasta and the semifreddo dessert were delicious!
Second meal after brother arrived. No waiting , table available and quick pleasant service. Food and wine great. Not expensive but not cheap. Plan on eating there again.
Really enjoyed and our second visit
The menu was innovative and included a wide variety. The tastes were new and most attractive. The presentation was perfect. I do not usually write reviews, but this restaurant is excellent with the cuisine Michelin rating quality.
Fantastic food. Service from the staff was unbelievable good. This is a place you don't want to miss if you're in Rome and want a good experience
We had a booking. Ended in entrance hall rather in main restaurant. No atmosphere and had to get up and close the door a couple of times. It was not warm enough considering the weather. Waitress almost disinterested. Rushed service possible because four were sitting on stairs waiting for a table. Food overpriced and mixed response from each of the four of us. One pasta dish excellent, one chicken salad dry, one mixed salad ok and my 25 euro fish fish was so over cooked. Fish never should be overcooked. I wasn’t convinced of the freshness of the cod. It sat on a green tasteless purée which was stone cold. So poor. Deserts were much better.
Our appetizer, tuna croquettes with pumpkin and a sauce did not work for us; the duck pomegranate risotto was good. The steak and lamb entrees were excellent.
