    We had a good dinner for our son’s confirmation party. Food well presented, tasty and fresh, particularly the tuna tartare, the mozzarella and prosciutto platter and fried dough pasties. Good pastas, fish and meat dishes. Nice atmosphere, waiters polite but v busy on sat night. V pleasant experience, will be back.

    The restaurant by itself is very nice. Quite big with wide menu. The food was not bad, but some aspects made me upset. Maybe I’m too much picky, but it’s better to give small suggestions to the chef, rather to put low mark for the cuisine. For example the salad, which was used for decoration was not fresh, I mean it was half spoiled. I like vegetables and most of the time if the salad is not only for decoration purposes I eat it. So, please, improve this small point. Also I should admit that cotolette Milanese was dry. So I was struggling to eat without drinking water, cause the side dish was fried potatoes. For other guests who came with me everything was good, so maybe I’m unlucky)) Anyway fish was better than meat. In general it’s not bad restaurant. I’d better recommend this restaurant to try and make your own conclusion

MODERNO, CALDO E RAFFINATO - Il nuovissimo ristorante Controvento è stato inaugurato nell'Aprile del 2013. Nasce dall'idea di quattro amici che desiderano "navigare in direzione opposta a quella verso cui spira il vento". Controvento ha un ambiente moderno, caldo e raffinato.

DAL MENU - La cucina propone ottimi piatti, con speciali antipasti del Norcino, prosciutto Jamon Iberico e prosciutti di Sauris e Cinta Senese, Slinzega bio serviti rigorosamente al coltello. Tutti preparati con gusto e curati dallo Chef Andrea Boccoli e dal "Grande Baffo Pastaio Carlo", che prepara deliziosi risotti e paste fresche fatte in casa, oltre alle proposte di carne alla brace di legna, come la classica bistecca alla Fiorentina, tagliate di Scottona Bavarese o di Fassona piemontese. Completano l'offerta squisite pizze cotte con forno a legna, focacce tipo Recco e pizze "Sfoglie" senza lieviti. Anche i dessert vengono tutti preparati al momento con ingredienti di qualità.
