Comida saborosa e empratamento expetacular e encantador, atendimento excepcional por parte do atendente Leandro. Super recomendo, super aconchegante o local.
Very nice place with very average food.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in that lovely restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive and the food was really great. We had the absolut delicious chestnut soup - sopa de castanha ( try it!), Polvo a lagareira, Perna de Pato confitada (leg of duck) and Tarte de Limāo merengada - our friends loved their Caril de Gambas and their Steak in Mustard Sauce. As we all enjoyed every bite we will soon return. Apart from that in every respect very enjoyable evening we got a substantial fork discount!
We had the duck confit and salmon, as well as a soup for a starter. The soup was great - can't say the same about the main dishes or the service. Our waitress was constantly in a rush and careless, I didn't feel that welcome in the restaurant. We had a 50% discount through TheFork so it was value for money, otherwise I would never pay full price for this kind of service and food.
Excelente acolhimento e a comida é deliciosa.
Great place to eat with live music! Very friendly staff
Good food and aood company. I will definitely visit again soon.
Food was good bud don’t skip the entrance. It’s not much quantity. Apart from it’s a nice experience, it’s well decorated with a good ambiance
Although we had an enjoyable meal we were seated inside & weren’t made aware that there would be a fado performance. We were a family birthday celebration & wanted to chat to each other but were told to be quiet during the fado performance - it impacted slightly on our celebration.
A fine dining take on traditional Portuguese food. Really enjoyed it, and the portions were large.
Very Nice Restaurant in the heart of Lisbon! Had a great octopus and beef tonight :) stuff is very nice and helpful, would come back.
Cafe no Chiado was recommended to us by some close friends who had visited Lisbon a few months before our visit. It did not disappoint. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the food was well-prepared. We even had a performance of Fado during our meal, a bonus. The quiet atmosphere was just right for us, since my husband and I enjoy a good conversation with good food. There is a lovely outdoor terrace, however the evening was a bit chilly so we ate indoors, which provided a cozy yet eclectic atmosphere.
Estupenda terraza para comer y cenar
Great atmosphere. The food is good but not great specially considering the price: the potato peel chips were soggy and the 'preguinho' was a bit dry. The crumble however was awesome.
The location is great. Everything else... less so; the mood is pleasant enough, but the food is uninspired “touristy” fare and the service is exemplary, as in “exemplarily bad”. The waitress seemed to be doing our party of 5 a big favor just by being there and could not bother to even try to be courteous. As if rudeness wasn’t bad enough, she finished the night by trying to overcharge us (3 couverts instead of 1). Clearly the owner believes a restaurant is just a real estate investment; all it matters is location, location, location. It is not. And therefore if the question is whether I would recommend this restaurant, the answer is surely no, no, no.
We ordered a dish waited over an half an hour, when we were told they forgot to place our order and the dish we ordered would take at least 20 minutes. So they asked us to pick something different and we tried but all we picked would take at least 20 min. So we finally settled for something that they told would be quick. They didn't offer no compensation for their mistake, a free drink or an free appetizer to bridge the time would have been a nice gesture. The soup costed 3.80 eur but was no better then the 1.20 euro soup in a normal restaurant. The couvert costs 3.20 eur pax and was miserable at that price level. All in one that's probably why the restaurant was so empty at lunch. The decoration was nice but the expereinece was dissapointing. At that price range I could identify a handfull of better alternatives. Won't return as long as I remember the treatment I got.
I recommend you come to this place because you eat really well and the staff is friendly.
