They are now charging an extra 50 euros to sit out on the patio with a view of the Tour Eiffel. We have eaten there many times and this is a new charge. Very disappointed and likely won’t be back

The restaurant has an unbeatable view of the Eiffel Tower. However, you pay a 50 euro (per person!) extra charge for the privilege of enjoying that view on the terrace (the charge come with a glass of champagne and a tiny amuse-bouche). The food was also mediocre; the fish seemed not very fresh and the pasta did not appear to be cooked to order as it seemed a bit dry. I used to frequent this restaurant before its refurbishment and it used to be excellent. Now it just seems like a money trap.

Lunch with the view of Tour Eiffel is worthless, although the prices are as proportional as the size of the tour. Nevertheless, the experience is incroyable. The service is really good!

The views of the Eiffle Tower from here are spectacular. It seemed to be a very fancy restaurant more geared for adults and special celebrations. When we arrived we were shocked to find out that they charge $50 a person and $50 per child to basically sit down outside (it also included a glass of champagne) this charge was in addition to your dinner bill which is also very pricey. We went for it because we were tired and starved but had we known this ahead of time we would have never headed to the restaurant. You can enjoy the same view one foot away on the square for free.

We made this reservation very excited for the location and the view! We ordered our meals and it took a long time and we asked the waiter if we can have some bread He brought bread no butter than he said our food is taking long if we wanted some appetizers we ordered and than the food came at the same time, no side dishes we had to ask for each side dish! Service terribly bad and food was cold. When we got the bill he extra charged us for some dishes! I am and my family very disappointed!will never go again to a place like this!

Excellent service and a perfect setting on the terrace. Food was very good, especially the tuna tataki starter. The fois gras main was good, but perhaps not quite as good as expected.

Great place, service was amazing, food was even better. Not a place to go when on a budget and the “expected pricing” is not to be followed from any reviews especially for the premium menu. Bring an abundance of money cause it’s up their in price.

The location is superb and the view enchanting however sadly the menu and service is rather poor. I made the mistake to go for the extremely overpriced pavé de bouef at €140 for two people. The piece of meat was over cooked (not as I ordered á point), extremely fatty and was served in a rather lacklustre manner. The bottle of Burgundy red was nice but I’ve had the same vintage in other restaurants for half the price charged here. To top it all off the café was lukewarm, had almost no creme and had coffee grains floating inside. Overall worth going if you just order one of the cheapest main dishes and want a pretty view but certainly not worth going if you’re after a gourmet experience.

I made reservations for my family hoping for a view of the Eiffel Tower—I was NOT disappointed! I truly believe we had the best view in Paris! As a bonus, our food was delicious! We enjoyed filet, salmon, and macaroni and cheese with truffle sauce—it was all amazing! Dinner at Café de l’Homme will go down as one of our favorite memories of Paris. We also enjoyed our waiter, Theo!

I was really disappointed with the service and meal at this restaurant. We were celebrating the last night of our honeymoon in Paris, and were looking forward to a romantic dinner overlooking the Eiffel Tower. We booked a reservation in advance, letting the restaurant know we were celebrating our honeymoon. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were told it would cost a premium of 50 Euro to sit on the patio with a view of the Eiffel Tower. I obliged, although this "premium" was not communicated via their webpage. We ordered the escargot, which in truth, was excellent. My husband and I ordered the beef which was in the "to share" section, which cost 145 euro. We are not opposed to spending good money on meals, however the dish came with enough food to feed about 6 people and the sides were not included. When I mentioned to the server he did not ask us about ordering the sides, his response was "I don't order your food"-which i considered to be extremely rude. As a server, it should have been his duty to explain.

A restaurant with abusive practices, for more than one reason: - Abusive, when once installed on the terrace, you are told the seat is charged € 50, excluding consumption. While no information was provided either at the reservation or at the reception. - Abusive, when concerning the seat fee topic, it is necessary to require explanations, to finally understand that you can be installed in another place without supplement and with the same sight on the Eiffel Tower, - Abusive when the menu, you are immediately oriented on the premium menu, 150 € (in addition to 50 €!), without any mention to the regular menu. In short, an address to ABSOLUTELY AVOID, despite an extraordinary environment.

The view is magnificent with Eiffel Tower and the cake is delicious. But the service needs to improve. We wait little long time for that.
