This was by far the worst meal I had in Paris, or frankly, anywhere I’ve been in a long time. I have no idea how it has 9 stars on The Fork. The grilled vegetables we had tasted like they were rotten. The pork shoulder was extremely fatty, and the cheese plate was a few soggy looking slices of brie and a bowl of walnuts. The head chef leaned on the counter and looked out over the restaurant all night while the rest of the kitchen staff were chatting with each other and looking at their phones all night. The wait staff was nice enough, but could not make up for such a terrible dining experience.

not much choice for the meat, just 1kg black angus, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Meat quality quite good, however not the best I ever tried. What really got on my nerves is that they didn't want to let me choose my wine. I asked for the list, and the waitress tried twice to sell me some random wine. only when I asked why I couldn't choose she brought me the list.

The service was not very respectful of us as customers, somewhat brusque, but remained prompt despite being fully booked.

About the restaurant
