Primarily a bar. Owner hospitable and friendly. Very limited choice but food was good. Prices lean to the higher side. Average food cost 25 per person plus wine.

Great experience. Our host was delightful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was eclectic and unique. Great place to relax, unwind and share a variety of tasty dishes. It is off the touristy stops and tastes were amazing.

We had dinner here on the last night of out two week vacation in Italy with another couple. During the two weeks we had some amazing and varied meals. We had a great meal that was equal to any other at Take Your Time. Unlike many of the restaurants we had gone to, the menu was short, simple and different without the extensive appetizer/primi/secondi/dolci choices. The small plates were really special. The wine list was very short, but the recommended Brunello di Montalcino was excellent. The owner Giacomo was most gracious and welcoming to us. The restaurant is casual with a decor we loved. For location it is located on a side street a block off the beaten path so it does not have all the foot traffic passing by. We plan on returning for dinner in two years.

Delicious meal with a different style to those served at the many surrounding restaurants. Relaxing setting where you really are encouraged to "take your time "

Extremely nice and friendly service ???? Food is ok, but the wine selection is superior to other places like this.

as a New Yorker, I have tasted great Italian food before, but the smoked beef carpaccio with a heavenly lathering of olive oil was other-worldly good! Bottle of Barolo was on point and perfectly satisfied my preference for earthy reds and my wife's taste for fruity Pinot Noir type wines. Owner is a conneisuer of food and wine and selects quality in both, but also provides bigger portions than expected. We took food home for the next day and there was no fuss about it. Just wish the daily special hot food was up to par with the apps.

Nice atmosphere, but food was tastless. Apetizers like bruscetta were nice, but main courses were disapointing. Uninteresting menu, and our selections were as cooked in a school cafeteria. No spices, not even salt, 'red wine sauce' was plain brown sauce, and not a good one.

This was a wonderful little restaurant. Father and daughter were very attentive and made wonderful suggestions for wine and food choices. Had the most gorgeous bottle of aged red wine! Good value and the best meal we've had in Rome. Would highly recommend it.
