Went for our son's birthday on the basis of reviews on The Fork and Trip Advisor which listed it as one of the best Italian restaurants in town. We found the food in general very good but not exceptional, loved the escalope milanaise and we had a fantastic zabaglione for dessert. Wines on the pricey side but the are some reasonably priced and excellent wines if you look. Service was attentive and friendly but a bit slow and the wine waiter did not notice or correct the fact that we had two white wine glasses and only one red even though we had chosen a full bodied Sicilian red with our meal. Atmosphere was not particularly Italian, more that of a standard good hotel but, full marks, we happened to mention it was our son's birthday when we dropped in at lunchtime to confirm the reservation and they remembered in the evening with a special dessert presentation. On the whole this is a nice restaurant I would happily go to but we wanted something really special and it did not quite make that.
Good food but slow service
Food very good, service disappointing. Wine glasses not refilled once empty (we had to request) and food came out far too quick, no time between courses. I was advised they were short staffed, however, restaurant was only at 50% capacity. Disappointing meal for the price.
Exceptionnally good food and welcoming service! The wine suggestion matched perfectly. Even if the restaurant is more expensive, it is worth the money.
Very good quality food. Slow service
Great food with very good service...a little expensive but quality has a price
Tuto bene, great wine with great food!
all perfect !
As usual, it was a great meal. Food, setting and service were great. One of us took the menu and the other one à la carte. Servings are more than honest with just the right savor. We took a Sancerre and it was perfect. We go to Bocconi almost each time we go to Brussels and again we were not disappointed
Food is very good. Starters, pasta and fish are highly recommended. Service today was not so good, it was a busy Saturday evening and brought wrong food twice.
Came for lunch but only had brunch buffet. Very disappointed and left.
Good, tasty food. Friendly staff, but the same staff maintained that the "the Fork" menus booked was not known to or available at the restaurant adding that The Fork must have made them up itself. A part of the order was wholly forgotten despite few people in the restaurant. A glass of wine is no less than 16 euros.
Food Arrived not fully cooked. Pasta was hard.
Squid appetizer was over cooked. Fish entrees needed seasoning. The service was not great. No one ever checked on us. We would have loved to order additional bottles of wine but couldn’t get a waiter to take our order. No water refills either so most of the meal we had nothing to drink. Disappointing to say the least.
Great experience! A perfect place to celebrate events in your life (birthday etc.). Beautiful place, stylish, friendly waiter, maître d'hôtel with a touch of Italy and exquisite cuisine. We were delighted. Allow a bubble of time just to enjoy every minute of it...no rush and service not pushy, just the right combination. I will go back again and thank you The Fork for offering us a good deal about at such a chic restaurant. 10/10 no comment
Would definitely come back here again if ever in Brussels. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
I was very pleased by the kind and attendive service of the staff, by the level of English they spoke and the food was also quite nice!:)
The food we ordered came out properly and was very good. My complaint was that the waiter was not very attentive. I know we are in Europe, but it should not take over 45 minutes to get your check and pay the bill.
Une formidable surprise, que je recommande vivement !
