We found this lovely restaurant just around the corner from our hotel and took our Mum here for her 80th birthday meal. The service was great and all the staff were very friendly. The food was superb, both in terms of taste and portion size. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place, really elegant although not too expensive (considering paris prices). Good onion soup!

We really enjoyed Bistro Saint- Dominique. The service was kind, polite and helpful. I guess you could say they are quite friendly to English-speakers, even a menu for us. We ordered from the set menu, my wife opting for the seafood starter and plate, while I went with marbled ham starter and risotto main dish. My wife loved the main dish but was not overwhelmed by the salmon tartare. While she loves sushi, she thought the salmon lacked flavor. My dishes were larger than expected and quite good. The risotto was very cheesy and heavier than I am used to, I couldn't finish it. We both saved room for the ice cream plate dessert. Perhaps some of the best I've had. All in all, a delightful experience. I would recommend it.

1kg cote de boeuf was mostly fat and gristle and the tables were too small to fit the food on. Toilets were appalling and having informed waiters, they responded that they already knew, yet evidently nothing had been done to clean them. The overall ambience was nice but the food was rather disappointing and the lack of staff meant poor service despite waiters working full out.

Lovely neighborhood brasserie. Menu was limited but very busy and popular with an obvious returned clientele. The wines were great by the glass and reasonably prices

I ordered the duck for my mains but the portion was so tiny! The cauliflower that came with it was occupying 3/4 of the whole dish! Also, even though I ordered medium, the doneness came a tad over cooked resulting it to be dry, I explained to the manager but he insisted it was still medium. I had ordered this dish previously and i really enjoyed it, so much so i even recommended my friends to come, but sadly after this experience i would never go again. However my starters which was the escargot was good.

Very nice French bistro on a small square just off the busy street. Friendly staff, beautiful decoration on the interior - do look for the stairs!

Three of us dined, two out three meals were under or overcooked. Duck tough on the outside; soggy cauliflower (because of sitting in too much juice). Chorizo dry, seafood not flavorful. Our last night in Paris -- we chose this restaurant because reviews were positive. Apparently we visited on an off night. Pineapple dessert was underwhelming.

The food was not great. My salmon tartar was mediocre. Very little taste and no seasoning. My duck was tough and the while it was nice to see roasted cauliflower it had a strange taste. Overall pretty disappointing.
