I’d love to review this restaurant but we turned up at the due time to find the restaurant closed! How on earth can I get a confirmation from a restaurant that isn’t open?!

The restaurant was a great disappointment. Although very famous in Rome the dishes were awful and the service appalling (apart from the waitress). I'm shocked.

The service was extremely slow and unfriendly (took about 30 mins to take our order despite repeated requests). This spoilt our enjoyment of the excellent food.

I felt like something being chewed up and spit out by a machine. I’d rather go hungry than eat here again. Staff appear to have no pride and scrap amongst themselves! You have been warned.

Quality food, menu and service and a balanced price. Could be expensive if you are drinking wine

I’ve been to Ba’Ghetto three times now on my visits to Roma and eating at Ba’Ghetto has been one of the highlights each time. The falafel is the best, without a doubt. Same with the tabouli salad. Of course the artichokes are amazing too. Hopefully on my next trip I can be there for Ba’Ghetto’s Shabbat dinner which looks fantastic! Please open in California????????.

We visited the place for Sunday lunch during the festive season. As expected the restaurant was super busy. The host however was very attentive to what was going on. Unfortunately not the same can be said for the rest of the service. Food was however good and to the expectations of an osteria serving Roman-Jewish specialities.

Three of us loved all our food, which was very varied. Simple skewered chicken was "excellent." Oven roasted veal with patate arrosto was "really great." Goulash with tomato sauce and paprika was "incredibly tasty." We are considering going back for a second time during our last remaining days here in Rome. That's a high recommendation!

Located on the row of kosher restaurants near the great synagogue. We went off season and did not have to wait. Food was wonderful! Wish we had a few more days in Rome to try out more of their menu.
