Brilliant, simple delicious food. A welcoming atmosphere. A charming host. What is not to love?
A wonderful little restaurant, the owner was excellent in explaining the food choices & wine list. Lovely atmosphere. Seems to be a small family business so it took a while for the food to arrive but the restaurant’s atmosphere made it easy to lose time in.
If you have travelled to Portugal before, this restaurant takes you back - a little getaway from Brussels. From the exquisite food menu to the selection of Portugese porto and wines, it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Brussels. A must go for meat / seafood lovers. The owners are very welcoming and kind, and the chef truly has a magic hand! Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.
This little restaurant was a great find, one of the best experiences we have had lately. Everything was perfect: the ambience and the intimacy, the service and the cordiality, the menu and the detailed explanations, the taste of the food, the wine and the rum, their homemade pasteis de nata. 10 points go to the owner's wife who is an extremely good cook.
Very good cuisine with a selective and cleaver selection of wines. Best Portuguese cuisine and, again, a very selection of wines.
Best restaurant in Brussels! Small and intimate, service by the owner and chef is outstanding. Skip all others and book well in advance and enjoy a hand created and carefully designed menu that changes weekly with fresh ingredients made from scratch. Would go again and will recommend to top friends and gastronomic aficionados!
Really good experience. High quality food and excellent wine.
Amazing! The owner is so friendly, and his wife is the back making the most fabulous food! Please go!
Very cool and typical Portugiese restaurant. The owner is friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Great food, great quality and awesome wine.
Had to wait over two hours to get our meal (which was very good). It was my second visit, the first one was nice and made me want to come again.
Au Cor de Chasse
Un 6 sur 10 ????? Là Cheffe mérite plus de respect dommage des olives dégustation d’huille d’olives extra vierge Alentejo du pain cuit sur pierre tout sa OBLIGER !
We have been to this restaurant at least 5 tomes now and it's always a pleasure. The host is kind and talkative. If you go to there, keep in mind that this will be a long meal. All the dishes are cook to order, that means it'll take a while to finish but you can customize everything and you are garanteed to have a perfect meal everytime. So take your time, have a glass of porto, then some wine and finally a digestive while waiting.
Tres tres bon on viendra
Great food, great people and great place. All items order were carefully made and is of the best level of home style cooking. Drinks and wine suggestion were also spot on. Thank you and we will definitely be back.
Cozy and inviting interior. The host is very friendly and passionate about gastronomy. Drinks and dishes were very tasty. Would definitely recommend!
Wonderful experience, every time an original touch added. This time we had the wonderful surprise of cocktails with Portuguese gin and sea salt tonic water :)
Definitely food for body and soul. This is not so much a restaurant but an experience, a moment to suspend time, to talk and to enjoy one's company, which includes the host. He is ever so gracious, explains in detail, and offers choices on specifiic items so as to accomodate food preferences. Home-made bread and lovely olive oil, a delight. A lovely mid-range red porto - and the best gin and tonic we ever had anywhere. If you ask for the house wine - though there is an impressive selection of Portuguese wines - you cannot go wrong. The menu is focussed - but providing a great choice of fish, seafood and some meat. But seafood is where the music plays. The atmosphere is most pleasant, the service is extremely friendly. We can all be greatful for having such a wonderful place - it feels more like family, if the cliche may be used here. And please, respect the fact that in a small place, talking loudly and worst of all on the phone is not exactly respectful of the host or other diners.
This is a typical Portuguese restaurant, the food is simple but extremely delicious. The service was unique ! When you book your table there you book an unique experience. I’ll be back for sure !!
We had a great evening, with superb food and wonderful hospitality from the owner. It,s not every day that the evening ends with a warm hug from the owner.
Outstanding seafood and pasteis di nata!
Domino's service was excellent and cannot be faulted. The service was extremely personal and the food was even better. I will certainly return where possible!
