Everything was great. we made a reservation and were sat right away. The service was wonderful and a great crew. The food was really tasty. we had 2 different paellas, pan con tomate which we assembeled ourselves and love it, mussles, and eggs. and wine and beer and desert. then we were full for days. greatly priced. would definitely return.

Overall just an average experience and nothing really stands out to be memorable enough. With so many outstanding dining options in Barcelona this one turns out to be a lowlight.

Great food, super friendly staff! Such an incredible meal. We asked the waiter for his recommendation on cava. Expecting him to immediately recommend the most expensive. But no, he went through all on the menu articulating their strengths and flaws before coming to his own conclusion on a mid-range cava. It instilled a sense of trust which was so good considering the menu was so vast. Would hope to find time to come back here soon!

This restaurant is very exquisite and needs to make an appointment in advance. I didn't make an appointment on the first night and didn't eat it. I finally ate it today. The squid rice is really delicious, and the cocktail is good. I plan to eat it here in the next few meals.

My second time there in the same week. We made a reservation online. It's was confirmed by email but when we arrived they said their internet was not working and tried to turn us away. I was with children and guest from out of town so I insisted on a table. Place was not full from the time we arrived till we left. Food was good but this time they tried to force us to order double portions of the same dish rather than letting you try more varieties with single portions. They try to tell me the kitchen is too busy. I won't be going back but just beware if you plan to go there.

Very welcoming and thoughtful people! The food is also great. The mushroom croquettes, un particular, are the best we have had in Barcelona. Very tasty, and so was the paella!

Recommended by our concierge and it did not disappoint!! Ordered 2 paella’s, one seafood and one chicken & rabbit. Seafood paella was outstanding. Complex flavors. Chix&rabbit was good but not as flavorful as seafood. Dining room is charming and staff were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend as a Barcelona paella destination.

A diverse menu of rices. We enjoyed that we could order our own portions and try two different things. The rice portions are generous - even by American standards. From our table, I could peek into the kitchen to see the chef ladling rice into the pans.

The service is just awesome! I strongly advise a nice evening with your SO and taste the delicious paellas they make! If you're a beer lover, then you must try their Moritz beer!

I wasn’t as excited by the meals as I expected after reading reviews on trip advisor. If you are in the neighborhood anyway, go for it. But not worth the time and taxi fare to visit if your aren’t close.

Not at the expected level. Rice ok but not special or good enough considering they have to be experts in that. Never seen before garlic and persil in a paella. Next time we will go to Barceloneta or north/south coast of Barcelona. Spending the same or more wecan have a better meal/experience

Really good vegetarian (actually vegan) paella option, lovely white wine(Viña Esmeralda Rosado 2017) . Free WiFi. Should book in advance.

We had a good meal here! We chose this place because of its non-seafood, non-vegetarian paella options. We ordered the 22€ per person Barajas Family set menu: In the first course: the vegetable tempura with romesco sauce was excellent but the escalivada smoked vegetables were well presented but not our thing. The Valencia paella was good but both the rabbit and chicken were quite dry and hard to tell which meat. The chocolate cake and Catalonia cream were good but not amazing. Service was excellent and it’s a very cute restaurant to enjoy our dinner.

About the restaurant

Our customers always say that the paellas and rice dishes served by L'Arrosseria Xàtiva are the best in Barcelona. Would you like to find out why?

Some think this is because we offer more than 25 delicious treats made with ecological ingredients, seawater and artisanal Riuet ‘bomba’ rice (D.O. Valencia, Pego Oliva).

Others believe that it is for the restaurant’s extensive menu, with excellent tapas, starters, salads, meats, fish and seafood, with the possibility of adapting it to the requirements of customers who have any type of intolerance.

Other customers refer to the dozens of wines we offer, representing the most requested Denominations of Origin.

With an uninterrupted kitchen service from 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, seven days a week, L'Arrosseria Xàtiva will become your restaurant of choice when you want to enjoy splendid moments with your friends and family and take away an unforgettable taste in your mouth. We look forward to seeing you!
