On a search for really gooooood paella, found this delicious restaurant. Great reviews, so decided to try on our last night in Spain. Started with a lovely spanish Red wine, first course was a light salad of quinoa & chicken/ mango, then cod and clams on a broth with potatoes which was light with subtle flavors. Paella was the obvious star! Seafood with squid ink, my absolute favorite. Salty enough to taste the sea but far from unpalatable. Seafood was tender and not over cooked. They make the paella to order, minimum of 2 people per order & increase the quantity based on number eating. The paella is served in the traditional pan at the table. It was perfect! Just what we were wanting on our last night in Spain. Finished meal with a passion fruit pannacotta!! Yum! Then wandered around the Plaza Major & surrounding areas and enjoyed the nightlife. Wonderful ending to a phenomenal trip!! Gracias España!
La paella estuvo exquisita!
It was an amazing experience!!! Paella was delicious and tasty, our 1st REAL Paella. The waiter, Stefano, has been very kind: he gave us a lot of suggestions about what to choose, he took a picture of us, and he was really kind and helpful. Furthermore, he gave us a cosy table in a private area of this special restaurant. We highly recommend the "Antigua Casa de la Paella" to all those that would like to try the original taste of Paella ???? . Muchas gracias y hasta pronto!!
Excellent service and quality of food- the waiter Hector deserves special praise for attentive service and accommodating my wife’s request for a paella without certain ingredients she cannot eat- but even aside from that, this restaurant is a highly recommendable place If you like paellas.
