A little overpriced due to the couvert.
Didn't receive a warm welcome when we arrived, left standing awkwardly at the door for several minutes and when we were eventually acknowledged, it was rather brusquely. The food was ok, but found it a bit bland and needed seasoning. No salt or pepper on the table, not unusual in Lisbon as food comes out well seasoned but found it impossible to attract anyone's attention, the staff almost seem to avoid making any eye contact. Eventually spotted salt on another table across the restaurant and asked the fellow customer if we could use it. The most enjoyable part of the meal was the wine, lovely bottle of rose, star of the show.
Not fancy but clean. Decent food. One negative was the presence of several flies buzzing around.
This restaurant is less than 100m from the hotel Corinthia and turned out to be perfect for a last minute booking. Food of very good quality and at a reasonable price. Yes you do have to pay the cover charge for olives, cheeses etc but this made a nice start to the meal. English translation of the menu does the food an injustice. Good mix of Portuguese dishes and other alternatives (mainly Mediterranean).
