A recommendation on the internet convinced us to book a table at this restaurant. No big signs outside, only an open door showing people passing by that inside is a small, cosy Portugese restaurant serving great food. It was fully booked so I guess rumour goes that this restaurant is a place to spend the evening.

Service was very good. Food came out quickly. The squid entree was very good. The clams were good, but not much inside the shell. They only take cash.

We loved this restaurant. The food was delicious. You will need to book as not many tables. If you can, best to call in personally to book. But our online booking worked fine.

Very tasteful, we choose octopus, pork and stuffed squid. All the plates was good, and my husband want to come back to try a typical dish (alheira). I really recommend the wine's house. Cheers!!!

Starters overcooked and flavorless. Main dishes arrived immediately after starters and food was even cold and a bit dried out. Wine was ok. Nicely decorated interior.

Good local authentic restaurant in Bairro Alto. With so many to choose from, it is nice to find one that is truly Portuguese with a nice waitstaff and good grilled fish and Octopus. The clam starter was also delicious.

Lovely little place. Service was great and food was tasty. An odd olive on top of bacalha bras had funny taste but apart from that it was impeccable. The octopus was delicious! Great service and the ladies in the kitchen were looking out to see if guests liked the food. Will definitely come back again

About the restaurant
