Lovely evening. Lovely staff. Beautiful presentation.
Good looking restaurant. Ambience energetic. Our server was efficient , clever, and genuinely helpful as well as funny. Food: olive oil excellent. Bread good. Salad fresh and excellent; fried sardines with roasted peppers excellent; the prawns were the best we had over 12 days of travel in Spain; paella - go to Valencia; lamb - delicious! Wine list adequate- not expansive. In sum, we highly recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience. The only strange part is the requirement to “prove your reservation to the “bouncer” outside in order to get inside to start all over again to reprove your reservation before you get a table. Love the piano player!
Fabulous food, service, ambience +live music! Perfect evening.
Fabulous venue and great service
Our party of 4 went specifically to enjoy a seafood paella. Unfortunately our dish did not look fresh and vibrant. The rice was dry and dark. The seafood was near non existent. A few tiny overcooked mussels, small prawns and a small over cooked lobster tail. Disappointing. We did enjoy our starters of cannelloni and cod fritters.
All round excellent old world restaurant in classic surroundings
The best paella ever????????
That was amazing night, I think this is one of the best restaurant in Spain.
Una pena que un lugar co
The “security guard” at the entrance checked my phone to be sure I had a reservation. I was then allowed in to a beautiful fairly empty front room only to be ushered into a back room —- for Americans / foreigners. Our waiter was not personable. There was nothing fun about the vibe there. Food was good. I have certainly had better on my trip around Spain. We were charged for the bread that was placed on our table even though we did not ask for any. My advice - go elsewhere and have fun.
Having been here before we booked this time through The Fork as we had friends over from Canada. The service and food were great again, especially the mixed starter and paella. Would definitely return but would maybe have paella for 3 for 4 to share as big portions.
Old classic restaurant with typical tapas and seafood dishes. We were disappointed by both food and service, guess they are relying on their good reputation and don’t work to obtain a high level.
Must be visited
The service was really good and the food was excellent!
Overbooked our reservation time and had to wait an extra 45 minutes to get in. The food was fantastic, the wine was great, dessert was excellent.
You can order paella from only a person.
They need to better manage the high flow of customers to avoid disappointment. It took us one hour to get a bottle of water at the table. We ordered a Paella and it was good. Highly touristic place.
